equipment

Although choice of photo equipment rarely makes a significant difference, for those technology aware customers – I shoot Nikon system. To make sure that that my work has the highest technical quality only professional level equipment is being used starting with camera bodies, lens, flashes, etc.

I use both digital and film photography when I am photographing a wedding. Both medium have their advantages and although most of the photography is made with digital cameras some shots are made with film to provide that unique look and feel to my photographs that is impossible to mimic in post processing. Both digital and film photographs go then through the same retouching worklfow to finalize each individual image.

Here is the partial list of the equipment that I use at the wedding:

  • Nikon D3s dSLR (main and backup)
  • Nikon F100 SLR (film body)
  • Nikon FM3A (for style conscious :-)
  • AF NIKKOR 28mm f/1.4D
  • AF-S Micro-NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED
  • AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G
